I understand it completely, as I saw it coming ever since the screenshots of the article opening the question that Hal Turner was faking the anon attacks as a ploy for donations.
Anon is a smart, smart fucker. Smarter than many of his fellow anons, sometimes.
By confirming the story, Hal gets discredited and we all get to laugh at the writers for being idiots enough to think we aren't real.
The anons can then say WHATEVER they want.
Anons who admit that it was all a ploy reaffirm idiot writers' ideas, and anons who describe this as a hoax like I am can just be written off as still keeping the ploy in play.
In other words, the attacks on Hal were real, and anon is using Hal's own history of faking attacks for sympathy against him.
...Or are we?
