Comrade, the book you're thinking of is Anthem by Ayn Rand. This story was one of the worst peice of AIDS and fail that I have ever read in my 111 years of existance! The moral of the story is that the most important thing in the world is greed, and that those who share or think that you should treat each other equally are evil. It is the epitome of capitalism and should be burned! *bangs shoe*

You spelled "epitome" wrong. Common mistake. Sometimes when reading it, I still pronounce it "ep-uh-tohm" without thinking.
