Yes, the governments are fucked up. They try to get money from you any way they can, some of it doesn't even make sense.
Like for example, I got a license from the US coast guard to operate boats up to 50tons as a profession. But unless I have a $13 peice of paper issued by Texas(that any fucking idiot can get!) saying I can tell the difference between a boat and a bouy that Texas considers me incapable of even operating a kayak.
Its just something about it that pissed me of recently, but there is other fucked up stuff.

Most of the people in Georgia (I try to avoid doing so however). Probably has something to do with Coca-Cola being headquartered here lol.
And Georgia governments have some crazy fuckups. Look up Fulton County, that alone is a whole list of fail. Legislation to vote on removing the blue laws (can't buy alcohol on Sunday) never gets passed despite the vast majority of the state wanting the chance to decide.
Oh yeah, we also sentenced a 17 year old to 10 years in jail for fucking a 15 year old (consensually) due to technicality in one of the stupid ZEBRA SALAD TOSSING laws. He's served 2 years so far, Judge ordered him freed, attorney general is trying to block the order.
