So, after CP's test session, the Nigra radio status window says: "the server on www.smokin-hosting.com takes too long to awnser".
Is this just me? |

Yes, though not your fault, just happened to pick up server lag. The error showed up in the server logs here but only once, haven't seen any other occurrence today. And that's just the script (which is hosted by the shoutcast provider due to firewall stuff), not the shoutcast server itself.

radio.poolsclosed.us/listen.pls should do the trick.

I almost wish it was. Myself and nothing0011 have both tested the server with no lag or skipping problems. On both occasions I know of since the new server that've had problems both mentioned their internets wasn't working right.
We've never been able to figure out the problem when you broadcast. I've had trouble listening since when Sped handled the shoutcast server and I've run out of ideas for exactly why.

| What the fuck is wrong with my internet. I listened to CP's test recording just fine, now I can't connect to nigra radio, and I constantly get the error message in the status window, even after clearing cookies, etc. |

Okay, so I was fucking around with some forum, and Tor was running. I open Poolsclosed, and lo and behold, the status window appears.
I got no idea why it only shows through a proxy, but if I can configure Winamp or iTunes or whatever to run through a fast proxy, I probably got Nigra radio back. |

Afroduck, can you post the actual IP adress and port number of the radio again? Just so I actually have some information to give to the ISP customer service girl after I threathen to skin and raep her. |

I got the other IP by doing an nslookup on radio.poolsclosed.us. |
I get something totally different trying an NSLookup. Neither one is the radio IP or the IP for this server though. radio.poolsclosed.us is a URL redirect for convenience (in case we have to change servers again plus it's easier to remember than IPs). All it does is forward you to the shoutcast server.
