Deleting the Prefs folder works too. Location:
C:\Documents and Settings\YOURNAMEHERE\Application Data\Adobe\Shockwave Player X\Prefs

To avoid getting b&, just make sure you use the raid tool so that when a Moderator does come in, your raid tool will most likely be alerted of it coming in.

Also, re-installing shockwave doesn't always fix your ban.  It could, but rarely, be a IP/MAC ban.
