I really do have to mention that because I had 19 listeners, the bulk of why I was playing was requests. Really, on raid days, the way the radio works depends more on the listeners than the dj. Sorry id you didn't like what I was playing, but I had little choice in most of it.

Anonymouse: Wrong attitude. Fuck 'em means they might stop listening if you play faggotry.

Sharp: You play requests, but not everyone requests a good song. While usually they do, one song can stop you from having a shitload of people.

Learn what people like, play what they like, and incorporate some shit you like more into the playlist. It should be a 65:35 ration of what they like to what you like. Sometimes they cross paths, too, so all is good if you know your audience.

I went from purple haze to bob marley to scatman towards the end of my playtime, and people still said I was crap. I don't know how to please some people.

I actually LOST listeners during the hendrix. This isn't a bizzaro world, is it? I'm glad the other djs are on my side, though.
