In some ways, but not nearly so gay. Second Life is a full 3D graphical environment. Has it's own economy (which you can even make real-life dollars off of) and the main limits are your own creativity (and skill in 3D design). The only things that really fail so far are the fags and glitchy software. Potential of this sort of environment is hueg, if done right.
Habbo is just a very limited pseudo-3D environment The only thing you can create is arrangements of pre-made furniture in pre-made rooms and you have to pay for it on top of that. Boring after about 10 minutes.
